Day 14 (Hinton, AB to Clearwater, BC)

We awoke recharged and ready to ride...nice the the rains were gone, but it was COLD as we hit the road.  Temps to 42 degrees, but the KLIM gear proved it's worth, and kept us comfy.

It was chilly in the mountains and clouds were hanging low in the valleys...

We had to backtrack through Jasper on our way to Clearwater...

Down to one lane through parts of the mountains, which means waiting for the 'Follow Me' truck, but this nice lady waved us up to the front of the line!  

Yeah!  British Columbia...

Simply put, British Columbia's scenery is stunning...

The lakes are like glass...

After riding for a couple hours, it was time for fuel, for us, and the bikes...scone and coffee for me.

Not a bad view either...

So Brian, from England, introduces himself to us.  He rides a BMW GS1200 and the conversation goes to the usual..."Where you from, where are you going...".  Turns out I may see Brian again as he, his wife, and the couple they are traveling with, are headed to Whistler, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Tofino, and Victoria....just like me!  If you see this Brian, I hope we meet somewhere down the road!

We stopped for lunch a bit later and who pulls in?  Brian, his wife Barbara, and their traveling companions...

After lunch, time to hit the road agian...

Finally made it to Clearwater, BC and time to relax by the campfire, with a Malbec...Life Is Good!
